This looks like a great use of an existing area with trees to provide a much bigger and more open home for the Siamangs, I can't wait to see it finished!
Just to clarify, is their current exhibit to the immediate right of "Pond 1" shown on the map?
Not quite. They are in the enclosure next the Fishing cat (http://hamiltonzoo.co.nz/assets/ZOO-MAP-LANDSCAPE.pdf). The other Siamang symbol is where the construction is happening. The 'Ducks and Swans' pond directly above was empty when I visited yesterday.
