It is a CAZA accredited facility in a town of 75,000 people in British Columbia, Canada. I have visited twice, and new birds of prey and black bear exhibits awaited my arrival on the second occasion so there is progress. The park rehabilitates a lot of animals, and there are a number of solid enclosures that are large and spacious. There is an excellent representation of North American mammals (lynx, cougar, black bear, grizzly bear, bighorn sheep, elk, moose, mule deer, red fox, wolf, coyote, raccoon, porcupine, badger, rocky mountain goat, caribou) and many birds of prey (bald eagle, golden eagle and at least 5-6 owl species). It is possible to see the entire park in 2-3 hours, but if one rode on the train, took kids to the playground and splash park and spent time in the Discovery Center then a longer adventure could await them.
