The photo was taken on 15 September 2012, just a few days before the new exhibit opened, so I juuuuust missed it

That is a lot of penguins. Hopefully their permanent exhibit is larger and nicer than this concrete room?

Who is Kelly Tarlton out of curiosity?

Apparently there are 80 penguins at Kelly Tarltons. This room really was very small but their permanent home is indeed larger (although from photos it looks very similar albeit without the rubber matting underfoot). I had to visit on a Saturday afternoon and so all the photos I took of the penguins were obtained by holding the camera in the air over the other visitors' heads and hoping for the best.
