this is the entrance up on the roadside, and inside is the ticket counter. Then there is a fairly long path down the hill to the actual entrance/gift shop which no doubt is dictated by the property lay-out but really is just weird because they have literally done themselves out of all foot-traffic for the shop merchandise (i.e. no passers-by to browse for trinkets, only the people who have already decided to fork over $38 to enter).
