After the 2013 floods, sadly the South American complex is demolished. All that remains is a large mud lot, with only the cement viewing platforms/barriers to the outdoor exhibits to remind you of what was once there.
After the 2013 floods, sadly the South American complex is demolished. All that remains is a large mud lot, with only the cement viewing platforms/barriers to the outdoor exhibits to remind you of what was once there.
The nice thing about this is that they are left with a blank canvas to start again on whatever project they want to build there. It will force them to build from scratch instead of relying on former exhibit space and designs to guide them.
The downside about it though is that there is nothing there until they have the money or desire to rebuild there.
