American Black Bear Exhibit #1

Beautifull, wast enclosure. I mistaked the rock on the left for lion :p then read that it's for bears.

I would never call the enclosure beautiful as it is simple chain-link fencing with a giant cement tube as shelter and an ugly, repurposed train car box as a den. The "rock" in the left-hand corner is actually an American Black Bear that is a white-colour phase individual.

At least it's not concrete hole without grass ...

2000 m2 (example) - 2000 opportunities to explore in the grass - smells, insects, soil
