European Wild Boar

May 2009.
Looks a bit more like a European wild boar (or rather, sow)-but look at the flank and neck...No, sir, there is truely some domestic pig anecstor in there.
 
The piglets are actually all striped, but this photo doesn't show the side stripes that run along the body. At the moment there are about 20 pigs in the enclosure, and that includes about 10-11 striped piglets. The little ones are slowly losing their striped appearance, and they do seem to be a type of hybrid animal.
