Wow that's amazing! It look's like it just goes on forever and ever. This would rival Seattle and Minnesota's Grizzly habitats. How many acres is Greater Vancouver Zoo? I considered visiting on my one trip to Vancouver back in 1996. I'll bet they've made a whole lot of improvements since then. I'll definitely make it over there the next time I ever visit again.
The Greater Vancouver Zoo is about 65 acres in size, and there are close to 2,000 photos of it in the ZooChat gallery. Everything there is simplistic and it is not a great zoo, but is field after field of about 35 species of hoofstock. The highlights are the 1.5 acre grizzly bear enclosure, the 1.2 acre hippo exhibit, the 10 acre black bear/Vancouver Island wolf drive-thru exhibit, and the multitude of large paddocks.
