Plan for the largest aquarium-complex in the world

Plan for the largest aquarium-komplex in the world. I\'m not sure if *in the world* here really stands for the world or just america.

Sorry for the *selfcomment*, but does anybody know how far the costructing is? When i was there (2008), they had only just cleard the area for it.

If they are for education, they should not go any further with 'terrors of the sea' for sharks...

Maybe they get the visitors with these catch-phrases and then educate them inside the building.

Good theory, not logical if they did do that, but good theory nonetheless ...

This project was announced in 2003 and now that it has been 9 years does anyone know if construction has even begun? The link below is from Marineland's website and the plans certainly are ambitious as one dome is supposedly going to have 3 million gallons of water while the other three domes will each have 1 million gallons of water. However, I'm not sure that the complex will ever be built.

This all looks incredibly innovative, but has this actually came to fruition in the last eight years? A shame if not, as this had potential to be incredible.

Does anyone know what happened to this project?
