Toronto Zoo - Tiger Exhibit

July 2008. I think that this was the holding yard for the tigers.

The last time I saw this exhibit it had a White Tiger in it, in 97

She has since died and yes,this is the holding yard

There was a white tiger? What was her name, why was she here and for how long?

I remember seeing Kivali on zoo diaries.

Kivali was seen on Zoo Diaries twice. The first was only briefly when they were bringing the siberian tiger's in for the night (She was only featured as well because she lived in the same exhibit area)

The second and last time was when she was featured as one of the three episode storylines. She wasn't feeling well and she was 19 at the time. The vets sedated her and discovered she had mellanoma (a type of skin cancer). The desicion was made to euthanize her and her last moments were filmed

I remember seeing that. I cried But I always do whenever an animal is euthanized or passes away.
