How many months a year would orangs be able to use an outdoor facility in Toronto? Never been to Canada, but I'm guessing that Toronto winters aren't exactly tropical!!

Is this a case where a high class indoor facility (which this doesn't appear to be) might be more important than an outdoor set-up, regardless how good it was?

I have a DVD of the TV series made about Toronto and the orang utans feature in it leading me to ask myself the same question.

I was wondering if a retractable roof over a much improved enclosure would be a good idea.
