There are really only two major zoos in Canada, and both Toronto and Calgary had giant pandas on loan in 1988. Almost a quarter of a century later and that year is still #1 all-time for Calgary Zoo in terms of annual attendance!

arcticwolf 10 Dec 2012 I'm pretty sure that the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg also had pandas temporarily.
