Polar Bear Exhibit

I don't know if it's just me, but if you look at this photo of the polar bear enclosure and compare it to a photo when it opened, the rock work looks less blue and fake!

Its just the lighting the photos. This one is a little more lighter than the other one

Yeah probably. Should of taken that into consideration.

Flixox101, you do have a point though, the exhibit has dulled since it opened if you compare pics from the same camera you can tell. Not a lot but it has dulled a bit.

Yep the colouring has been dulled. I remember how brightly orange the African savannah was when it first opened. It's gone way down.

Yeah, now that you mention it, the sky has dulled as well. What is the problem up there?

It was probably my ISO. :x I apologize for the poor photography skills.

But yes, I did notice when I was at the zoo it wasn't as a dark distinct blue as it was when it opened.

When I first saw this exhibit, I thought it extended into the grassy field. Then I saw the wire in between and thought it was a shame they did not have access to that area. It was only until today that I discovered they do have access to it! What a great way to separate the bears and I love when they're given access to grass.
