I'm sure. They have many names like Solomon Islands skink and monkey tailed skink. I'm guessing Solomon Islands skink is the name that you saw on the sign.
Im almost postive I saw solomon Island so Ill make that change. Thanks for the fix. I was so busy trying not to lose kids I didnt have as much of a chance to read and memorize this time. Four hours is just not enough time to tour properly and still manage to see as much of the zoo as possible.
I remember the name they had for this at the zoo was Solomon Island Monkey-tailed Skink..or something like that. But Arcticwolf is right, they're often called Prehensile-tailed Skinks.
