One interesting thing that I noticed today is that the green winged doves are now in the free flight section of the Australasia Pavilion. A kookaburra is in their old exhibit. I have no idea what happened to the crested pigeons.
They locked up my beloved Kookaburras? Say its not so. I love being able to walk right up to them. Hope that reverses by spring when I can visit again.
I dont like the doves as much as the kookaburra. But knowing that there are 4 new crowned pigeons they might have seperated my precious kookaburras out while the pigeons acclimatize. Hopefully they can all be out together shortly.
