Is this fish possibly blind? Its eye is pretty white and cloudy looking. Maybe Hix who seems to be a real fish expert could make a guess.

Hix is a fish expert? I hope that he pass through my last three Malawi Lake cichlids that I've posted in the To Be Identified section... days passed and nobody pronounced.

About the eye of this cichlid, I guess that or it's blind (at least on the right eye), or the photographer used flash (when you do that, fish eyes appear white in the photo).

I did not use flash so I'm guessing this fish is blind.

I cant say for certain if Hix is an expert on fish but Hix has been a big help in the past identifying fish.

Ya it probably is blind at least in that eye but I wasnt sure if that was normal eye colour.
