You know when you see the reindeer in the field they seem larger. Against a person they seem so much smaller. I still giggle every year when I watch the Santa Claus and see Tim Allen being followed around the zoo by our reindeer. Is it sad I still watch it religiously every year... sure but what do I care I watch all the greats from my childhood. Fun fact I went to school with one of the kids who played an elf in the movie. I could only pick him out of one brief scene but still cool.
I would have assumed most of our current herd falls into that category. I know there was a time that we couldnt get rid of our reindeer and they took to putting down unwanted male calves they knew they couldnt find homes for.
