Matschie's Tree Kangaroo

Both Tree Kangaroos were on exhibit. I believe this is the male, Harrington. (Thanks for the identification TZFan. Much appreciated)

He stayed in the trees for the most part, never going on the ground like the female.

What kind of climate control exists inside the Tree Kangaroo House?
(one can see the snow outside)

It's actually quite warm inside. While inside, you wouldn't even realize that it's dreadfully cold much less winter outside.

Cypher is right it is very warm in the pavilion. They have one of the nicest exhibits in there because they have huge glass windows so they can see outside. It lets in tons of light. All of the zoos pavilions are well heated. You would never know you were in the middle of a cold Canadian winter in any of them until you see snow out a window.
