Someone looks bummed. Are you sure she had scratches? From this angle it kinda looks like uneven shedding. Although you were the one there and actually saw her up and moving around so you would have a better idea than me.
It would be cool if that was just really unique markings. I forgot you had talked to a keeper. Of course you would have asked.
Sounds like you had a great chat with the keeper by the way. Thats the joy of a winter visit the keepers can afford to stop and chat. Not that they wont any other time of the year but they must get stopped tons of times in a day during the summer where as in the winter there are far fewer people around who would want to talk to them.
