I have vague memories of these guys at the zoo. I remember that they were always fun to watch and they were my mom's favourite species. It's too bad that the zoo no longer has a seal species. When I first heard about Tundra Trek, I was hoping that seals would be included in the plans.
They were amazing to watch. I loved the size of the big males as they glided past the windows.
For Tundra Trek I wanted to see walruses. It's a really pity that didn't happen even if it was too costly and impractical. Walruses would be one of my must haves for the zoo, along with African Wild Dogs and the devils.
