Flamingos 1980

The small black birds look like oystercatchers (I don't know which specific species though). Unlike your other old flamingo picture, these look like Caribbean flamingos instead of greater. Does anyone know if there were two flamingo exhibits or if the two species were kept together? I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but I am really interested in the Toronto Zoo's history.

I never even notice the other birds in the little photo I was looking at. My hand was probably in the way. Good eye.

VERY pale Caribbeans -- diets have improved since then. Also Oystercatchers and Crested Duck.
