Great picture! When I did my zookeeper for a day, fintan became my favourite lion at the zoo. He followed me around the lion house, and even though he is still an extremely dangerous animal, he has a really sweet and funny personality. The zookeeper said it is because he was hand raised so he formed a very close bond with people.
I love how the wind is just barely blowing his mane into his eyes. Must be a fairly new annoyance for him.
Arcticwolf did the keeper mention if either of the girls were hand reared? I would guess probably since they came from the same place, were similar ages and still so young when they arrived.
All of the white lions were hand raised. The girls just act more like real lions while Fintan acts more like a giant dangerous dog! The two tawny males are much scarier than the white lions though, because they weren't hand raised so they view all humans as prey.
