Shintay (F) standing up to see if the Keeper was going to toss in more food during the feeding. It was cool, because she would stand on her hind legs to look over the people to see the Keeper behind us.

I've never seen Shintay behave this way before. Every time that I see one of the zoo's grizzly bears being active, it's Samson.

She seems pretty energized during feeding time. More so than Samson.

Maybe its because they are focused on packing on the pounds before winter. Time is growing shorter for them and they know it. Just a theory.

Yeah Keeper said that they've been slowly increasing their food portions, for the winter.
