Nice picture of a species that I haven't seen in a long time. I hope I will get to see them a few more times before they pass away and the species is gone from North American zoos.
I think they are some of the very last. Less then 10 if I remember right. Part of me wishes they had just left them down in the domain and brought in something else to replace them. I would have been content with simply moving the tahr from the exhibit you only get to maybe see them as you go by on the zoomobile. It would be nice to see them go on display in a public area before they are phased out.
