Wow that's just beautiful! You really have created a great bird photo collection and I think you have really improved on your bird photo techniques since you began your work on the birds earlier this year. They get better and better no doubt.
Well of course the animals always help with any great shot. But it takes a good photographer to be able to first see the shot and then capture it. I would have accidentally cut off part of the body or been blurry or not even noticed him standing there in the first place.
