Homer has been working on this nest for over a month now. It gets more and more impressive everytime I see it.

That looks really cool! I'll have to look out for it on my next visit.

It's right about where the Tomato frogs are in the African Pavilion.

The staff is providing him the materials necessary. I'm sure they're looking at this as an act of enrichment. Hopefully they'll get him a mate seeing how much effort he put into the nest.

Im sure it is enriching for him to build the nest, plus it makes a wonderful display piece. I wouldnt count on either male receiving a mate. They are surplus males whose bloodlines are already well represented. That could change down the line but for awhile at least they arent needed.
