Still has access to the outdoor area along with the Wombats.
Should I be this excited to see a wallaby outside? Get me a picture of a wombat outside and I will be completely shocked but this is close.

I think cypher mentioned that it was outside because some of the zoo's warm weather animals have already moved inside for the winter.

Yeah, walking through the Savannah is getting dull.

Giraffe's are for the most part indoors. They have access outdoors, but don't really come out.

Hippos are indoors.

Rhino's are supposed to be indoors, but yesterday Tony was strutting his stuff outside. I'm guessing he was given a choice to go outside.

Kudu are indoors

Zebra's are still out, but not for much longer with weather getting colder.

Olive Baboons are still out.

Kangaroos are indoors.

Marsupials have access to go outdoors.

Er Shun is confined to indoors.

Indian Rhinos are indoors.

River Hogs are indoor.s

I knew what you meant. I just havent seen a wallaby outside or a wombat ever. Inside sure. Outside nope. Probably just bad luck on my part.

Er Shun is probably just in by chance. Its not like the pandas arent built for the cold.

If the red river hogs are in now does that mean warthogs Petunia and Winnie are back off display again?

I thought the same thing with Er Shun, but her doors to go outside have been close during my last couple visits. She can't go outside, even if she wanted to.

As for the Warthogs, during my last walk through in the pavilion, the Warthogs were on display, with access to the off exhibit area. And I'm pretty sure only 1 Warthog was present. The River Hogs were a no show.

Odds are you are just catching Er Shun indoors. But maybe she is a big suck and just doesn't like the cold.

I think it would have been a good idea to take the hogs off display for the winter and put Lucy and the piglets in there. Why have babies when no one can see them until spring? Its one thing if no one is around to see them but its another if they are off display the whole time.

I'm not so sure about Er Shun. When she has access outdoors, there's usually food put out for her. Nowadays, the outdoor exhibit is completely empty. Plus, the doors are closed. When Da Mao is outdoors on cold days, they give him the option of going indoors, by having the door open.

During my visit today, the River Hog are on exhibit indoors, and the Warthogs are off exhibit.
