All five females were on exhibit today for the first time. There was some squabbling over the treats at the keeper talk, Mahala and Emma deciding who will be #1. They are full sisters from different litters and have spent the least time together.
This is Emma who is very pretty, with a little darker coat than the others but brighter white on the throat and underside. She is slim and graceful-looking.
The best group picture I got was 3 1/2 cheetahs and a little blurry.
Today most of the savannah animals were outside - giraffes, zebras, baboons, ostriches and lions. The lions are back to their old schedule as long as the weather is good enough, i.e. White Tuesday, Thursday and the weekend, African Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
