The best news at the keeper talk was that they have confirmation that a male will be arriving form a U.S. zoo to join Twiga, 24, and Mstari, 1, both female.
The keepers don't generally have that info, and giraffes are not usually moved in winter conditions.
The supervising keeper did say he will not likely be on display until late next summer and that fits with late spring travel, quarantine, and integrating with the others.
He also could not remember which was the final zoo of the ones that were possible.
