Just to clarify, this is the new exhibit that just opened? I thought I had read on another post (a construction photo) that it would not open until next spring?

Eurasia Wilds, including this exhibit, had a "soft opening" 12/1 and will have an official opening in the spring.

It's difficult to get a good perspective of this enclosure, but if you go back to 10/10/14, there are a few pics.

Here's the link to one of the pictures Mr Wrinkly is referring to. It is nice to see the colour of the rockwork change from the dark black to the more natural grey.

Keepers expect the black rocks to fade quite a bit more so everything looks more natural. So far it looks pretty good.

Even the difference between the two photos is huge. Im sure by the time winter batters and bashes the rocks it will look very natural. Ah winter in Canada. It is good for something.
