I have never been this close to Lloyd. Unfortunately I couldn't get the weeds out of my way. I was impressed to see how big he is. I don't know why but I always thought he was much smaller. Anyone know why we don't have more of them?

I remember a Keeper saying that not much zoos have this species in stock.

It's not an SSP species that's for sure. But why get a species we would only be able to get one of? We must have had more originally.

I'll see if there's anyway I can find out during future visits. Hopefully someone knows something.

I wish there was an SSP or studbook I could track back in to help us answer this. I might know someone who might know the answer or knows someone who might. I'll try them for us since we opened this up.
