Golden Toad Exhibit (empty due to extinction)

May 20th, 2012.
That's a nice looking exhibit. I'm sure the toads would have loved it.

If I had a dollar for every time I've seen a visitor scanning the terrarium for any sign of a golden toad then I'd be a very rich man.:)

So this is a permanent exhibit, and the keepers don't just move the sign around the reptile house to any empty exhibit they're renovating? LOL

:p :p :p

Exactly, I actually noted several within a few minutes and even when they read the sign they still carried on looking and complaining that all the frogs were impossible to see.

Looks like a great idea though.

Nice educational idea, but would work better with a 'boarded-up' exhibit, I'd say - which would be a) cheaper and b) less confusing for those who can't understand signs! :p

What this exhibit really needs is a Hypnotoad in order to instill an amphibian conservation command into every visitor who finds it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AOfbnGkuGc]Everybody Loves Hypnotoad - YouTube[/ame]

Hypnotoad is from Futurama and is awesome. All glory to the Hypnotoad.
