The bottom right-hand corner is the entrance to the aquarium, and the facility is set inside the 1,000 acre (400 hectare) Stanley Park. The middle of the photo, at the very bottom, shows lots of tiny beige dots and those represent chairs and tables as that is the main restaurant area of the establishment. The glass dome is the roof of the Tropical Amazon section, which opened in the early 1980's. The aquarium is exactly 60 years old and the main building is for the most part of an above average standard. There really isn't anything spectacular but there is very little wrong either. The outdoor exhibits are adequate but the aquarium is embarking on a campaign to spend a fortune (likely $50 million or so) to revamp the entire outdoor zone in the next few years. I commented on that area on another photo of this model.
