This young brown bear arrived late last year to replace another bruin that had died. It is companion to the enormous russian brown bear that was a diplomatic gift from the russian moscow olympics. This young bear does look very different from the other older bear, but until they get along well and share a large exhibit that the best one in this small mexican zoo. When i was taking this peicture the bear got up on his hind legs to look at me, so it seems to be used to people.
