Green Tunnel leading into the aquarium

January 2012
I never get why british zoos don't have Doctor Who themed exhibits!

Plus the now-defunct Doctor Who Museum at Blackpool was surrounded to the left, above and to the right by the Sea Life Centre (though separate from it, in fairness).

This didn't remind me of Dr Who at all - I watched the first episode so I remember it in black & white ;)
Glancing at the thumbnail, I saw two fan shaped palm leaves with something blue between them :)

the one on the right is an eel (http://www.zoochat.com/1741/eel-sculpture-green-tunnel-257603/) and the one further down on the left is a weird generic sort of fish. The two light patches just beyond the fish are a couple of little tanks currently holding guppies and platies. Right down the far end is a painting of eels (http://www.zoochat.com/1741/eel-painting-leading-into-aquarium-257601/), and when you get into the aquarium proper the first tank you see is the http://www.zoochat.com/1741/whitebait-tank-257612/

The tunnel is nowhere near as bright as it appears in the photo, and its really blurry because I don't have a tripod...

Not to stray too far off topic, but this was my haunt a few years before I started visiting zoos properly [or at least, the shop was] - my big passion before zoos was collecting Star Wars figures [the geek that I am] - I still have them all boxed away in various places, one day my signed vintage darth vader [packaged] will fund my living collections :D
