axolotl or Mexican salamander (Ambystoma mexicanum)

According to CONABIO ( comision nacional sobre la biodiversidad) there are over 100 species of salamanders in mexico. So axolotl is correct not mexican salamander. No hard feelings giant eland, you have corrected me often too. Es entre amigos. Nice photo, too.
