baird`s tapir nando animaya - Nando was born at Zoomat ( zoologico migel alvarez del toro) and is the only tapir in the Merida zoos. He is very used to people.
When did he come to the Centenario Zoo because during my visit - end 2013 - I didn't see any Tapirs at this zoo. Can you also tell me where it is kept ?
Nando is a very recent addition to Animaya. He was rejected by his mother and hand raised at zoomat, which is why he is so used to people. Nando lives with the yucatan brocket deer on a rocky hill next to the yucatan white tail deer. If you call him by his name this tapir will actually come toward you.
