this is actually really cool. There are three new giant play-things at the zoo: this one, a giant tarantula and a giant centipede. They are still being installed so I refrained from playing on the slide.

The skink slide looks amazing! In the past I would have chuckled and walked right on by but now that I have two kids my young daughter will go down a slide at least 50-75 times in a row without stopping. Toddlers are crazy about them and I can sit and gaze at a zoo map while she goes up and down for half an hour straight.
