white buffalo ranch (closed)

Taken through windshield driving by, Highway 180 north of Flagstaff (Arizona), May 20, 2012.
On the side of the highway are a building with peeling paint saying white buffalo and in front of that is an even more faded sign saying come see the white buffalo. Behind that are paddocks that are empty. I presume it was an attraction with white buffalo that has since closed. Two years ago, a drive through park called Bearizona opened in Williams, which is not that far away from here. They have white (and regular) bison and I can only assume the white bison that were at this roadside attraction were bought out by Bearizona.

Here are a couple links to the old place.

Another source I found states the couple that ran it had problems (near deadly car crash, etc) and put the ranch up for sale on January 1, 2005. Since it is still there and clearly abandoned, I assume that either no one bought it and Bearizona just bought the animals, or Bearizona bought everything to get the animals. Anyone know the inside story?

I also found another white buffalo ranch in Oregon that is part of a New Age or Native American inspired religious group called Sacred World Peace Alliance.
