I wish they had had this in 1981 when I was in LV it would have taken the shine of the lifts/elevaters which a part from the huge beds is all I recall of the hotel.
I do remember Frank Sinatra supposedly bought the hotel after that.

You probably wouldn't recognize Vegas now, Dean. They've turned it into Disneyland for adults with crazy themed casinos all over the place (Paris, New York, an Egyptian pyramid, a castle, etc.). Several of them decided to add tropical fish tanks as decor like this one. The Mandalay Bay casino actually has a very nice AZA-accredited aquarium called "Shark Reef" which has Komodo dragons and a very large shark tank.
So I've ben told David, I have an E pal who lives in Tucson and used to live in Vegas in the 1970's she hates what they have done to it. It's abit like times Square or 42nd street in NY when i was first there as an 18 yr old in 1980 it was edgie the last time in 1996 it ws just like all the other places in large cities such as Soho in London they clean it up and loose the atmosphere.
