Whenever I see this photo I don't know whether to chuckle with laughter or be scared. There was no other containment for this lion and even though it was a juvenile, one can tell that there is a lot of power with the muscles on the cat. But this is what you can find in rural Arkansas. A solitary chimp in a metal box, baboons in god-awful cages, a lion that could probably escape with ease, visitors with Confederate flag tattoos, etc. Ugh.
