Chlidonias 3 May 2012 in the end this building wasn't entirely demolished, but rather refurbished and turned into a "tuck shop" with some room for Australian reptile tanks. The new look can be seen here http://www.zoochat.com/15/old-elephant-house-wellington-zoo-205615/ (not looking a lot different from the angle apart for the colour, but most of the building is actually gone)
