Photo taken 19 April 2011. The best I could manage in the circumstances.
Oh man, you should have said you were going today! I did. Went to the 11am feeding. I was quite surprised how big the chick was, but then she was 38 days old. The glass was very reflective, my photos are similar I think.
 
I hope the Zoo's experts can restore the chick to health.
Ten chicks raised this year wouldn't be a bad result: but the eleventh matters too!

this chick is now named Stella and she is I think still living happily on Codfish Island (Solstice was her mother's name, "Solstice One" being Stella's temporary name until she was through the early part of her life)
