Pronghorn male

To see Pronghorns in the wild was one my luckiest moments in my life. I asked at the entrance to the park the ranger how big the chances are to see pronghorns, and he said, absolutly no chance, at this time of the year, all pronghorns are in the mountains. Not all, as I could see two hours later, a herd of nine pronghorns crossed the street...

All these pictures of yours are a pure joy to see, Zebraduiker! They are absolutely wonderful!

That's awesome. I love seeing pronghorn. They hang out near the parking lot of my place of employment and are such a joy to watch.

Pronghorns are fairly common in some States. My wife and I had a 13 U.S. State, 15 day road trip in May of 2006 and we kept track of all of the pronghorn antelope that we came across. The final total was around 130! The majority of those were at dusk around Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and Montana.

@Dan. Thank you ! I do my best to get good shots.

@snowleopard. That sounds amazing...Pronghorns are such wonderful animals, its sad, they are so hard to keep in captivity.

But I have to say, its very easy to see a lot of wildlife in the USA, so I've ssen elephant seals, a seaotter, coyotes, an opposum, countless birds and mule deer and much more.

The wildlife viewing at Antelope Island is spectacular, especially if you like shorebirds.
