Sorry to spoil your excitement - I would have been stoked to see wild condors. Actually, I wasn't aware they had been released into the Canyon (so I've learnt something) - might have to make a trip there sometime to try my luck.

Your chances of seeing a California condor at the Grand Canyon are quite excellent as they hang out near the lodges and visitor center. The National Park Service rangers give daily talks on them.
