I never would have imagined sighting these guys on my trip to the Grand Canyon back in 2010. Elk, deer, cougar, bighorn sheep yes; but definitely not peccaries.

You really expect to see a wild cougar? You would have to be the luckiest tourist in the state to manage that.
 
That's interesting thanks for posting this. The furthest north I've seen one was in Payson, and that was over a decade ago.
