Thanks. If you ever make it up too Alaska. A wildlife viewing cruise out of Seward to the shores of the Kenai Fjords National Park and the Chiswell Islands NWR is worth the time and expense. On this trip we saw Orca, Dall's Porpoise, Harbor Porpoise, Fin Whale, Humpback Whale, Mountain Goat, Black Bear, Stellar Sea Lion, Pacific Harbor Seal, a misplaced...though apparently a not too uncommon visitor...California Sea Lion, Sea Otter...and an amazing variety of birds. Driving down from Anchorage added Dall Sheep, Brown Bear, Red Fox, Moose, and more birds. We also drove out to Soldotna-Kenai and added Caribou and still more birds. I hope to do it again this summer. My mother was visiting from Connecticut that year and we wanted to really show her Alaska...she still talks about it. BTW I enjoy your posts and updates regarding the Beardsley Zoo. So thank you.
