Although there may be a few other pure individuals floating around in the "no-known-subspecies" population within Europe, I have only seen a single 100% proven member of this particular subspecies in captivity; a male who, quite frankly, was an evil-tempered bastard and which was long-displayed at Muncaster World Owl Trust.
