One of my nemesis vagrants...every time one shows up here in California I drive for hours to look for it only to not find it.
 
Sigh. I've been looking for ages for one. I have literally even stared at electrical lines and barb wire fences on my 6.5 hour journey to Brownsville, yet no sight of one. I've seen probably 50 turkey vultures, 50 black vultures, two Swainson's hawks, and a few red tailed and red shouldered, but still nothing. The only facility I know of with them is the National Aviary, which granted I'll be moving closer to, but still...

They're not here yet. Still in Central/South America. They'll show up in early April. Then, you won't be able to miss them.
