I rarely have good things to say about San Diego Zoo's exhibits, but there is an outstanding Andean condor aviary in the cayon between the panda exhibit and the lower end of the former Heads and Horns mesa.
Grock and Carlotta can fly in short distances. They usually walk around the exhibit and limit flying to getting from the higher part of the lower part. There is a little more to the exhibit than is seen in this photo and a small cave area they can go inside that guests can also see inside. Where Legends of the Wild was build was a hillside that they partially removed in order to build the exhibit.
